The Magic School Bus: In a Beehive
Customer Review: Very entertaining! My preschooler can't get enough of it.
This is the very first Magic School bus video I bought for my 3.5 year old. He loves it. He watches it again and again. Now he is hooked on Magic school bus videos. The video shows where honey comes from in an entertaining way that captured his attention. An educational video that invites him to wanting to learn more about it.
Chuzzle
Chuzzle
Meet the Chuzzles - the adorable stars of this slide and match puzzle experience! They are googly-eyed balls of fur that giggle, squeak, and sneeze as you slide columns and rows to set off combos and chain reactions of ridiculous intensity.
Customer Review: AWESOME GAME---CHUZZLE is worth all 5 stars!!!!!
I have to say I hesitated before purchasing this...it seemed like a child's game...and I am over the proverbial hill (50) I am a longtime addict of Bejeweled and Alchemy (also PopCap games) and this is definitely, without a doubt loads more fun than Bejeweled. It has bright and colorful furry "chuzzles" with eyes that follow your cursor and do lots of funny, unexpected things (see another reviewer's notes) Part of the fun is discovering all those things yourself. It took seconds to install on Win XP, and voila! I was playing my first game, and lost all track of time!! It is challenging, and you have options to play classic, speed versions, earning bonus points, and even trophies. What seems simple at first rapidly becomes addictive, and hours will pass as you are intently focused on trying to group 3 or more chuzzles together to pop them. There are rainbow chuzzles that you should definitely try for, and very fat chuzzles, and well, you can discover the rest for yourself. I had gotten a little bored with Bejeweled. I think Chuzzle is a great step up, it holds your interest with all the little "quirks" and sounds of the furry chuzzles. It is for children of all ages, and for the price, it is one of the best games I've tried. Definitely try Chuzzle, I don't think anyone would regret getting it. For anyone who loves Bejeweled, you will love this more!! IMHO....:) Have FUN.

Joys and Importance of Reading Recent research indicates that seventy percent of highschool graduates are unable to read at the twelfth gradelevel. In many cases, reading is subordinated to otheractvities in children's lives. Is that what you want foryour child? If not, get your kids interested in books atan early age. Your voice is your baby's most beloved sound. Takeadvantage of your baby's natural inclination to focuson the sound of your voice and read aloud to him. Whenyour baby fatigues or becomes distracted by otherstimuli, stop reading and resume at a time when you andyour child are ready to return to it. Preschool childrenwhose parents read aloud to them an average of twentyminutes daily scored significantly higher on assignmentsand tests in school. Create the habit of read-aloud timewith your baby now, and he will likely beg you for thattime when he is old enough to do so! Create pleasant associations with reading time for yourchild. Fix her a favorite snack or beverage to enjoywhile listening to you or while the two of you listen toa recorded story. Make reading time a pleasant escape forboth you and she eagerly anticipate. Later, when kids enter elementary school, consideroffering incentives or rewards for reading books. Youmight want to pay a penny a page, or provide extra timeon the computer for reading a certain number of pages eachday. Be sure to quiz your child about the books that areread to be sure the books were both completed andunderstood. Show your children the value of reading in your own life.Put fun magazines (for both you and your children) outwhere the children can see and examine them. Check outclassic literature from the local library and allow yourchildren to see the enjoyment you get from reading it.Ever hear the expression, "The apple doesn't fall far fromthe tree?" Children whose parents value and enjoy readingtend to value and enjoy reading, too. Keep a good supply of wholesome literature around thehouse. You can buy it cheaply at yard sales or thriftshops. Dont be afraid to restrict television or computertime. Lacking these options, your children may be more aptto pick up a tale of excitement or adventure and soondevelop their own love for the written word. About The Author
